Polotics

Well i hate a subject, but on a different hand... i love it. I'm 16 years old, figured id throw that out first, anyways lets talk about it. First of I don't wan't to break any rules, I'm new to this forum and I don't know if this is allowed but... I saw some polls on Excite.com and i was wondering what you guys think 1. Do you think that Arafat out of the picture will help peace in the middle east. Heres my .2cents. NO i think 95% of the people over their are absolutly out of their mind. The middle east has been fighting for Thousands of years, and their going to continue.
Next, Bush or Kerry, first im a ardant Republican, but lets throw that out. First lets talk about cheney, i like **** cheney, so he made some money in the real world. I kinda like that, a republican Gov. gives people a chance to acclerate in life. Do we want a bunch of ignorant poor people thant can't move ahead lead our country? What do you think?? What about Iraq, the torture rooms, lets not forget the rape rooms, what do you think about why were their? Even if we didn't find any Nukes in the milliion miles of desert they have (ever burie something and not be able to find it?) what if they gave, or sold it to a terrorist regime, which they did work with.
Simple thing is what do you think srry if im breakin the forum rules, but what do you think?

This is definately the wrong forum to post this in...it'll be moved in the morning I'm sure.

But while it's here, I'll go ahead and answer you...

Arafat gone=peace...nope

Bush vs. Kerry...it shouldn't matter who's affiliated with what party...how about who will do a better job. If people voted that way, it might make a difference. Political party affiliation is rediculous.

Republicans help people get ahead in life...maybe big buisness (I'm not a democrat either...don't claim a party)

War in Iraq...good idea...how it's being handled now...bad idea

ps...I love my Lightning!

aramtractor,

You are on the right path with your thought process and your beliefs…

So let’s begin with Arafat, one of the biggest terrorist of our times and perhaps responsible for slaughtering more innocent men, women and children then any other terrorist we know.

Yes with Arafat dead it opens a possibility for some stability in the Middle East as well as a slight possibility of peace. I say slight because it all depends on who the crowds will follow and take their instructions from.

Many in the Middle East are not educated, not enough to form their own opinions or to make logical decisions. This is because they have been repressed not just years, but hundreds of years so they know nothing more then what their brutal dictators tell them. If you were continually told over and over from birth that America was evil, or that Israel was evil then you would believe that. They have very little to no other channels of communication with the outside world. If they were told the world was flat they would believe that as well and shoot anybody that told them different.

Arafat was a big road block to any peace between the Palestine’s and Israel but not the only road block, the main road block is hundreds of years of repression and brainwashing of the ignorant people of the Middle East. Now, it is not the Middle Eastern people’s fault they are ignorant because they have no choice in the manner, they either follow the leader or they DIE.

You are also on the right track that republicans help people much more then Democrats do. Democrats, those on the left as in liberals in general, love to repress people as well. The Democrats, in general, can only maintain power by having people who are always needy, who need assistance from the government even though they are capable of doing it on their own.

The Democrats love to put people into many different groups and label them. It is a form of discrimination, you have the nasty rich people, the nasty white guy who is successful, the lazy and useless, the minority (of who the Democrats love to pound into their heads are to stupid to make anything of themselves) so you get the idea.

Minorities have made little progress in the past 50 years due to anything the Democrats have done, yes they have helped them in some ways but nothing like Republicans have. Republicans basically group people into two distinct groups, the successful, which doesn’t matter what color you are, where you are from etc. Then there is the other group, the whiners that are basically useless and lazy and want everyone else to do for them, they don’t want to be held accountable for any decisions they make that are wrong and they absolutely want NO responsibility. We, as conservatives look at them and practice good ol’ tough love which basically means to give them nothing and when they begin to starve the survival instincts take over and low and behold they are magically able to take care of themselves and from that they gain pride never to return to the state of useless and lazy.

Here is something that will always make it simple to understand the two thought processes:

Conservatives (republicans):

“Teach a man to fish, feeds him for a lifetime…”

Liberals (democrats):

“Give a man a fish, feeds him for a day…”

Which one is more compassionate and respectful to the human soul? Yes, the conservative approach…

Welcome aboard and don’t be mislead by the one liners and name calling that will come along to try and pull you away from the correct path, the right path…

I think the last outside chance there was for a resolution to the Israel / Palestine problem died with the assassination of Itzhak Rabin.

I think the recent death of Arafat will help generate a fresh start to the peace process, but only after Palestine sorts out their inner politics and all members agree to a common goal.

I think this will not happen in my lifetime nor yours, or your kids.

Do I think peace is possible?

Yes, but both sides are too stupid and have their head up their **** to ever figure it out.

As long as man continues to fight over whose deity is correct, we will all remain in the dark ages.

Interesting, but I work with a lot of smart fools on a daily basis, by which I mean they probably have IQs over 130 but they have the common sense and street smarts (wisdom if you will), of a houseplant. Despite their high IQs, these people are some of the most useless humans on the face of the planet.
They can talk about science and theories and take tests all day, but their ability to troubleshoot and improvise as well as their logistical grasp of what is realistically possible is severely lacking. A high IQ is nice but I'll take an IQ of 90 and good common sense everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Anyone want stories bout smart fools, let me know, you probably won't believe how "dumb" these smart people can be.

So, this car with Connecticut plates pulls into a Mississippi gas station and the driver of the car asks the attendent,
"What time is it?"
and the attendent says, "Huh?"
