Where are you from? (Your roots)
Born and lived 18 years of my life in north Idaho.
Got married and the hubby joined the Coast Guard, we've lived everywhere since. We're currently in Juneau, Alaska. We plan on making Alaska our permanent home, not Juneau though, we're thinking Homer or one of the other towns on the Kenai Peninsula.

Born and raised in Buffalo NY also a rusting broke *** city with major crime and no good jobs anymore. I built my own home 55 miles south of Buffalo and now roam free in the country with over 70 acres of furry animals to admire then shoot. closest town is olean NY (home of the bonnies) 20 minutes away.
Grew up in Melrose Park, Illinois...just West of Chicago.
After college, lived in St Charles, Illinois for almost 30 years.
Business move brought me to the Cincinnati area in '01. I live in a wooded area just outside the little podunk town of Bethel, Ohio.

CIA Agent-I'm in military Intell and just left Huachuca in 2003 where I was a Drill Sergeant (if your screen name is any indication of your profession, we may have a lot in common, to include acquaintances). I still have many friends there, and will probably return there next year when I leave Italy.
