I am wanting to get a new truck soon. My first baby is on the way and my wife wants me to get a supercrew. Are there any dramatic changes in the 05s vs the 04s. There are killer deals on going on right now in my area on supercrews.

No dramatic changes between '04 and '05. About the only difference is Ford removed some of the sound deadening from the '05's.

This is just the bean counters trying to control production costs, and really has no effect on quality.

Also some things that were standard on the '04's are options in '05.

 

cd player also plays mp3's in the 05, but not the 04......

Id say get an 04, it would certainly be tons of bang for your buck!
