Getting back to Frank's original topic...
Not only did Bush win, the republicans picked up seats in both houses. One Party has the power, one Party has the checkbook.
The Government 'is' George Bush and Company.
The dems can't stop him or slow him down.
As I watched the returns Tuesday night and Senate and House seats went Republican one after another, a new name for "Dubya" popped into my head, "King George".
King George has a mandate, applaud and cheer or get the hell out of the way.
Mid-term elections in two years.
If the Repulicans can pick up five more seats in the Senate then the Dems can't even filibuster.
If that is what America wants, if that is what she really, really wants, then may she have it.
One Party Rule.
That is absolute power.
Absolute power corrupts.
You just have to feel sorry for Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Anne Coulter and the rest of hate radio, they are pretty much out of work. How many times can you say "Watch out for Hillary in '08"?
I'm out of the politics threads, as I said before the election.
If you voted for Kerry and you don't like what happens in the next four years, get over it, you ain't responsible for it.
If you voted for Bush and you have "issues" during the next four years,

Nah, you wanna see hate. Just watch Dan Rather on an election night when Republicans are winning. He looks like satan incarnate.
