OBL: ”Please, please, please America, please elect Kerry as your President I am tired of running and hiding in caves, my followers are tired of running and hiding in caves, we really just want to go outside on a nice sunny day and not worry about being bombed. If you elect Kerry the very nice man who feels our pain, who believes we too are people and that he will treat us with compassion, please can’t we all get along, we need time to rebuild our troops of followers, we need time to build up our nasty supplies of WMD’S, we would just like to go out for a night on the town with the boys and eat some KFC…
This Bush guy you have is evil, he is the devil, he is mean and he has no compassion for us. This Bush guy wants to kill us, he doesn’t feel our pain, he doesn’t care for us and he doesn’t look at us like common everyday criminals.

I think the tape will boost Bush's rating a little. People will see that Bin Laden is still alive and is still a major threat. It will show them that we need a leader who is determined and will not change his mind about everything.

It doesn`t say squat to me,that scumbag is insignificant to the American Democratic Process and should not even be thought of let alone be any factor at all in any decision involving our way of life.**** on him and his camel he is not worth the sand that his mother dropped him head first into.

NightLine visited this exact issue last Friday night. They had Richard Clarke (former terrorism czar for the Reagan/Bush Sr/Clinton/Bush Jr. administrations (before he resigned) and the terrorism czar from Pakistan (whose name I do not recall.) Both felt the entire point of the tape aswell as the timing of its release was designed to throw support in Bush's favor by being critical of Bush so that the US citizens would once again 'rally' around their leader right before the election. Furthermore, they both felt that in OBL's view that Bush symbolized what Al Quada is fighting for globally moreso than anyone or anything else.
In my personal opinion, I think both were right on - OBL would love to have Bush in office for another 4 years because he has done more to advance their cause and spread hatred against the US globally aswell as divide us domestically then anything or anyone they could have dreamed up with all of the money and resources they could hope for. As a result, the amount of help that the Bush admin has indirectly given Al Quada to advance their cause far outweighs the amount of chicken-***** pressure that was applied on them in Afghanistan.

Well, this is what it says to me...
Osama says, "I'd really like to blow something up in the States; but, I sent this tape instead."
He would like nothing more than to strike at us, the way they did Spain, before the Spanish elections. The tape was the best they could do. That says a lot to me about the war against terrorism. Bush should have a chance to keep up the good work on that front.
