Hey Colby.. Sorry to hear about your loss. As many others I too had to make the decision a few years ago. I had a black lab, that was just totally awesome. She was my best friend. I got her about three months after I lost my dad. I just needed a friend at that point in my life. Well at the age of 2 she was diagnosed with cancer. I decided to treat her, and so I did for an entire year. She was doing great until a week before I had to put her down. I had told myself during the treatment, that if she ever got to the point were I could see she was suffering or she couldnt function on her own, it would then be time to stop her suffering. No matter how much I prepared myself for that day it was the hardest thing I have ever done. She woke upo in the morning and couldnt walk. She couldnt even stand up. She tried walking and was dragging her hind legs. I knew then it was time. I miss her so much but know she is in a much better place now. It took me about a year and I got another lab. Caine im sure youve seen him in my photo gallery.

My condolences go out to you. Time will heal your pain. And hopefully some day you will have another dog.

That's right... so many doggie beatings to give out so little time. Just think of the fun of a beating a new puppy pooch. I enjoy rolling up one section of the newspaper, wraping the ends in electrical tape for a tight roll, then with a sharpie write "Puppy Clubber" on it. I've been through Puppy Clubber I, II & III already. Its fun to rest them on the top of their crate to remind them what happens when they screw up.

Ahhh... typing this makes me want to create the Puppy Clubber IV.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I had to put my Akita (Beara) down one year ago this month.
