We are at 1.63.

1.29 would be great!! The last time that I remember prices like that was in 97-98. On friday CNN reported that one of the heads of Gulf Oil said that its possible oil could get to $20.00/barrel which would result in gas under 1.00/gallon.

I think I recall seeing oil had to be at $25 a barrel for gas to be $1.00. Gotta say it sure is weird. They sure had us all brainwashed.

Sure would be nice to have like a 300 or 500 gallon storage tank at home right now. Zoning may have an issue w/that though

Well I was wrong. Gasoline went down before last 2 elections and up afterwards and it also always goes up when they make the switch to heating oil...

Not this year.
Something is fishy.
Or the heating oil switch story as always been a lie.

Anyway im enjoying the hi performance setting on the tuner with 93 octane.
Maybe it's time for the supercharger after all.

I wouldn't advise making any long term commitments on a gas hog. The pendulum swings both ways and it will go the other direction. The gas prices are low again, and it will end drilling here. We will still be dependent on outside sources for our energy, leaving us at the mercy of others once again.
It has proven to be true since 1973.

Thumbs up

$1.59 here this morning.
Yesterday I filled up for $33.00!
Much better than the $75.00 this past summer.

saw some cheap-o mom and pops gas station, prices were $1.46, assume its for low grade, but still, we are catchin up !

Filled up the truck with some 91 (premium out here) and it was right around $1.90 or so...

hearing predictions of gas going below $1 before too long !
