I get back to Lost Angeles to find that gas prices have risen DRAMATICALLY.

Supreme unleaded (which I have to use) was $3.45 today

I took this pic with my camera phone while driving into the gas station.

We share your pain here in Socal my friend. Also Hawaii I believe has even higher gas prices than Socal.

When I hear these guys talk about how high their gas is, paying something like $2.35, it pisses me off that we haven't seen prices that low in a couple of years here.

If people in San Diego were paying $2.35 for gas, most of them would trade in their Priuses for Hummer H2s

Its wierd, gas stations know that gas is now $3 + a gallon here, but they limit you to $75 bucks on one card slide. Good thing my truck is only 35 gallons = 2 slides of my card... dumb companies.

Shell limits it to $50 on my card!!!

I just go inside and give the attendent my card and I say fill-it up. They debit $100 so it doesn't stop, and when it's done, I go back inside and just pay what correct amount. Though I don't think it will be long before it really will be $100 per tank.

Here in Anchorage, the lowest price for reg is 2.26 at costco, and the highest is 2.39 at Chevron. Alaska is a remote market though, and it takes a little longer for our prices to go up or down, relative to the rest of the nation.

Manitoba, its 1.02 a liter, I dont bother with the exchange, the price is CDN dollars and I pay in CDN dollars. I dont want to imagine how high its gonna go this year.

Official average her in San Diego is now $3.16

I can still find an occasional ARCO for $3.10, but this sucks and summer is still a ways away! I project $3.50 here by the time you guys hit $3.00
