Going to the track tomorrow shooting for 12's
Just wanted to see if any of my Lightning brothers were going to New England Dragway tomorrow night??
I know it's not a Lightning by any stretch of the imagination but it still is a truck..lol
My best so far is 14.2's on just the motor but tomorrow night the GoGo juice is being tested at the track for the first time.
I hope to see some of you there tomorrow night..

Last night I put the stock airbox back in with a K&N drop in filter.
There has been some talk on some of the boards that say you loose hp with the Volant..
I am going to start with a 75 wet shot and if I can buy jets at the track I want to try a 100 shot.
We will see, only about 12 and a half hours to go.

I know 12's are pretty slow in the Lightning world but 12's in the Denali will feel pretty good. haha

Well we just got home from the track and it was a pretty good night.
The first run was an all motor pass to see if going back to the stock air box over the Volant would make any difference. Well it ended up being a new personal best for an all motor pass.

Ran a 100 shot, I have a couple of things to take care of before next Friday and then the truck should have even better results.

The bottle pressure was dropping pretty good on the last pass. I went to go get the bottle refilled but the NX guy at the track was all out of Nitrous and was packing it up. So I am going to have to get the bottle filled and give her another shot either this Wednesday or next Friday which is the last day the track is open. My driver's side header was hitting the frame pretty good after the first Nitrous launch and beating it all the way down the track. So I am sure I was getting quite a bit of knock Retard because of that. I will have to get that taken care of this weekend so I can be ready to join the 12 second club next week..
Well that was the night, all in all a good night and I am happy with what it run.

thats pretty cool for such a big truck, but damn those mph's are real low. On the all motor run, u ran a 8.9 @ 76 and a 14.2 at 92, i swear those times are so identical to my runs except my mph was 82 and 100. Next step, blow that baby!

It was a great night and I bettered my goal of 12.80 for the night and backed it up.
Starting off with a full bottle of nitrous vrs. a half bottle makes a big difference. My bottle pressure was in the green for all three runs tonight, plus a couple quick blasts on the highway..
Next comes the Magnacharger Radix blower kit...
