Sport bikes anyone???

I just bought a 2001 Honda CB 929RR. I want to drag race it when I can. I think it would be lots of fun. 374 lbs, with 150hp. Can anyone recommend a good message board for sport bikes?

I thought my last bike was quick, years ago: 82 GPZ1100 (500 lbs and 130hp bored to 1170)

There are TONS of messageboards out there to fit your taste. I'm sure there are good ones for your particular bike, as it's a really popular bike. sportbikes.net is a HUGE national site with a wealth of info., check them out, and ask around there.

Btw, I ride a 2001 ZX7R... Nice to see another sportbiker/truck owner combo!

by the way, if you haven't ridden in years (and I gather you already know this by your post, but it's always worth bringing up), careful on that bike. That's another bike with a oodles of power that's fairly light, and as with most newer model sportbikes, VERY unforgiving. If it's been a long, long, time since you last road, take the MSF course, and maybe to a trackday, you'll be glad you did!

and how did I know that you knew that I'd be all over this post like stink on sheet, when you fully well knew that I knew that you would know that. In fact, you already knew enough to post what we BOTH already know anyway, which makes me wonder why, since we both knew, we posted anyway?

The answer is pretty simple actually, you know that I know, that you are, well known at that, to be a post *****.

I knew that you knew that I knew you knew I knew.... I have to tease since I'm too freakishly large to drive cool bikes.

LOL!

Actually, you'd have the "knee dragging" advantage... Think of how cool that would be, you wouldn't really have to lean the bike that far over to get a knee down, and be the envy of all your biker friends!

Actually, there are a bunch of bikes that would accomodate you size, off the top of my head, a Kawi ZX12R would likely do the job.

Don't you want to ride with sportbiker gangs in Detroit?
