What do you like about American Performance?

I'll tell you what I like-

For the most part, our cars make their power the old fashioned way- naturally.

No turbocharged this, intercooled that, and until recently- no SUperchargers either. Of course, there has been sporadic use of both on American nameplates, when our manufacturers put their minds to it; we're hard to beat.

When they put their mind$ to it.....

Recent Turbos:
Buick GNX (Grand National)
GMC Cyclone
Pontiac Trans Am (Aniversary Edition)

Recent Superchargers:
Mustang Cobra
Lightning
Thunderbird S/C

Real Chest Thumpers:
Viper
Corvette
Corvette Z06
Corvette ZR-1
Camaro Z-28 SS
Trans Am WS6
Mustang GT
--------------------------------

I don't like Turbo's & Superchargers. WHen you can build an engine that can just flat-out whip butt; that's something special. That's what I like about American performance. We beliee in engines; big engines; not about wringing 300 HP from a 2.7L that gets worse gas mileage than a 5.7L on the highway.

Effortless power- That's what I'm talking about...

I like power-adders that make big engines make bigger power.

Not into small cars at all. Too impractical for me.

I like lots of torque at lower RPM. You don't get that with many of the foreign cars.
