Bush Rocks!
Bush came on strong. He was agressive and on the ball last night. When Kerry did that 'look into the camera' thing, I laughed out loud because I thought he was going to keep comming and leave a nose-print on the lens.
Gotta give this round to W.

"Read my lips, no new taxes..." Who said that in 1988?
Kerry staring into the camera and promising not to raise taxes on the middle class reminded me of that Bush, Sr. moment.
Kudos to the President for regaining his true form that his supporters have come to expect in this debate. He showed much more passion and a better grasp of the issues than in the first debate.
As far as debate style goes, Kerry comes across as an excellent debater, so I can see why Kerry supporters are getting so excited from his performance.
But, in true poltician form, and something I think that turns off voters (including myself), Kerry simply didn't answer several questions until the last 10 or 15 seconds of his first two minutes, or answered them with meaningless rhetoric, or said "I have a plan." At least once, he directed people to his website. Regardless of the substance, that is simply annoying, especially in the Town Hall format. If someone asks about topic B, don't tell them about subject C or go back to topic A...or tell them to research when they get home.
I remember the 2000 Bush/Gore debates and when Bush called Gore on that very thing during the Town Hall meeting, saying something like, "see that's what people don't like about politicians."
The President did a far better job of interacting with the crowd, even making them laugh a few times. He answered the questions that were posed to him, even the last question, which I thought was very unusual to pick for a final question...or to pick as a question in a debate at all for that matter. To ask what things someone feels that they have personally done wrong and open it up as a debate question? Seemed a bit loaded to me.
Anyway, overall I would score this debate a draw. Like the first debate that probably brought some new life and hope to Kerry supporters, I think this debate probably brought increased hope to the Bush supporters.
Off to Tempe...

Keep in mind liberals on this board that Bush spent most of the day before debate #1 consoling hurrican victims in Fl. It was obvious to anyone that he was tired and was not going to put up with Skerrys' shenanigans (BS). The Bushinator was in rare form yesterday and long overdue. I just wonder if sKerry gets elected you will be whining just as loudly about the higher taxes you'll be paying as you do about Bush? I doubt it.
