Halliburton pool:

How many time will the word Halliburton be uttered?

I say 15 times.

Raoul, you are a wise man...

I just hope Cheney can refrain from telling him what he can do with himself.

He should really save that for after the election.

I will as well as the next 4 years. You can always have hope that in 2008 Hillary will be around...

Edwards is getting spanked...

I've only been watching for 20 minutes (just got home from bowling) and I'm rather surprised at Edward's performance... he's f'in up left and right and comming off as a kid fresh out of college. I thought this would going to be a hot debate... how did the first hour go?!

Edwards states:

”John Kerry has been consistent about the war with Iraq”

Kerry:

”I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it”

“If I had the same information I would have made the same decision as President Bush on the war with Iraq”

“I would not have done anything that President Bush did and would not have invaded Iraq”

“Iraq is a serious threat to America”

“Iraq was not a serious threat to America”

“The war in Iraq was the right decision”

“Wrong war at the wrong time in the wrong place”

Of course there is many more, however…

My question to any liberal would be if that is consistent could you please give your definition of INCONSISTENT?

Thank you for helping me to clear this up…

I do kind of feel bad for Edwards. I think he “had” a bright future but it appears Kerry is going to screw that up for him like Algore screwed up any future Liberman had…

Oh well, so sad…

Personally I thought that it was a good debate and that each was a better representative than their running mates. Edwards dosn't come off as snobby and talking down to you like Kerry does. Cheney isn't flustered and slow on the draw like Bush. In the end I give Cheney the win tonight. There was a lot more clear animoscity between these two than Bush and Kerry, and that got and held my attention.

I think it was pretty even, alot of the same talk that Bush and Kerry gave. Nothing really different.

The other think that irked me about Edwards was his constant "John Kerry did this, JK did that, JK & I... oh wait, WE are gonna do this..." He just seemed off and too pie-in-the-sky. The wrap up shows are pretty much saying it was just like loudist said... dry and uneventful.

I thought ****ey had the sharper edge tonight. Time to wait for Friday. Hopefully they'll have Dub'ya prepped better.

yeah, you would say that wouldn't you? you're such an ardent anti-Bush slave you can't even see it.

so don't downplay it. the smart people i know, who hate Bush mind you, even conceded Cheney completely trounced Edwards.

I counted 11 Halliburtons said.
The Moderator said a couple and both Cheney and Edwards were about even, maybe Edwards said Halliburton once or twice more than Cheney.
