Question Norinco Guns, any experience with them?

I am thinking about buying a 45 from a guy. It is a Norinco 1911. I have no experience with Norinco. I was wondering what to expect in terms of quality etc. Any comments welcome.
Thanks

Norinco Evaluation
Another one
And again

The general consensus seems to be that while they aren't very pretty, they work, and work, and work, and work and...

Hope that helps.

Crude fit and finish, however as stated they seem to ****ion for the most part. If price point is for you look at Star, they are Spanish made, and desent quailty for the money.

I understand they are made with a good grade of steel. Some of the custom gun guys use them for modifing.
