Bought a 2004 f-150

I swore I would never buy a Ford. My last 2002 f-150 was the biggest pile of crap going, and it went. ( bitched a lot abought it here in the past )I drove a 2004 fx4, that truck was also a pile of bolts. At only 69 KM the truck was out of alignment and bounced all over the road.
I drove a few more f-150's and was not impreesed with thier build quality.
I also drove Gm trucks and thie dodge ram, same story, some were good, some were not.

I will be happy with my 04 f-150 xlt regular cab 4wd with a 8 ft box, I like it so far. I had concerns abought the the 3v per cylinder, 5.4 now I'm ok, much improved, THis truck dos not go into labour every time it changes gears, Ford did improve thier truck, but if you want one, drive a more than just one, The human production worker has his/her bad day,s like the rest of us, across the board, I beleave ford's quality control has to improve, But I like my truck, and gave ford a 2nd chance.

:santa:

Iffin you mean 69,000 miles it needed an alignment, I would say that sounds normal. Beside a 04 with 69k has been driven pretty hard.

If you could find no good in GM or Dodge either, then obviously you wouldnt find good in anything you own.
But hey, at least you stayed with the Ford, so their must have been something you like in it.

Please some of the people some of the time, and some people none of the time.

Sled...

69 km = mayby 30 miles, The ford dealer did nor do a propper pdl, trucks bounce alot on rail cars+car haulers.
