Frances - Be safe y'all
She's gonna wallop some part of east central Florida. Got my hurricane shutters up (two-story house). Haven't worked that hard since bailing hay as a teen to get in shape for football two-a-days back home in Indiana. I know several of my KR brothers and sisters are in Florida. Sure hope the KING doesn't get all beat up. She won't fit in my garage and I got no tarp and everyone's (stores) are out.
We've been battened down since Wednesday evening. Watching it since then...just can't seem to decide where to go. Going slow, wobbling...now projected to land about 90 miles North of us. I'm glad it's now 115 and not 145...HUGE difference. Looking better for us by the hour...even going slow...
I read in the local paper today that the Columbus Civic Center was being refitted temporarily as a shelter for any Flawrida hurricane refugees.

Florida is just wonderful. I get one day back to work and am off to Boston for a seminar and to watch my Indy Colts win their season opener. Then back for Ivan. I'm not taking my shutters down until mid-October.
