I Did It!

Hello to you all from over the pond! Here in England, the site of an F150 is as rare as rocking horse poo. Having had four Jeeps, I was always envious of the serious trucks that you see in the US, so I finally took the plunge. Had to buy it from Canada though as I couldn't find a US dealer willing to sell me a new truck, but WOW what a beast!!!!

Even though the steering wheel is on the wrong side (LOL) it is so easy to drive, and being so rare, I am always having it looked at and photographed.

Took it to Spain last month, people were giving way to me in Madrid - never been heard of.

Hope to get a lot out of this forum, so I'm looking forward to long chats.

Regards Fred

Hey Fred, welcome to the site and congrats on the new truck. WOW that must be a site to see. Your F150 going down those small england roads. I was over there for a year and a half up near lowestof at Bentwaters air base. I remeber driving a mini while I was there and could hardly fit that down some of those roads. Well glad you got it, glad your here and get those pictures up soon so we can all see it.

I live up in Milton Keynes, bought myself a new F150 Lariat 5.4 triton in Black and Arizona Beige, Got the moonroof, sliding rear window, side steps, towing package, load liner, hard bed cover, audiophile system, it's absolutely the mutts nutts. I sit in the office staring at it, looking for excuses to go out

BrewDude - with something this size. (yes I have a small *****!) everyone just gives way. Occasionally, I just drive over them, talk about power!!

Just need to know how to get those Day Lights off, gets too much attention - LOL

Fred, congratulations on your truck.
Have fun with it.
Are you going to convert it to LPG or are you filling up with petrol?
How much roadtax do you pay for this truck in England.

Big!!! you said.

Look at those parking places here in Holland.

Welcome to the board Fred! Man I wish I could drive my Tan Terror in a place full of compacts, sub-compacts, and sub-sub-compacts. That would be a hoot. Some 'nanners for our new across-the-pond member:

F150Europe - who's truck is that?! I need to know that wheel/tire combo!!

Yeah, it´s a bad *** truck except for those nerfbars but that´s just my opinion.
It was present at the All American Ford Festival here last Sunday.

22 inch American Racing rims.
305/45R22 118 V Tires

Here is more pics of that truck

And here´s the vid of that truck.

Super!!!!

That just makes me wanna take a trip to europe and ship my girlfriends dads red 04 F-350 Lariat FX4 Crew cab long bed with a 12" lift and 42" tires (i think thats correct). Man, that would be sweet. I think i fell in love with her for sure after seeing her jump out of that truck the other night. She will probably be getting that truck next year for her senior year (high school). I think i found the one....
