Trading Spouses

Have you seen this BS??

By now, a lot of you know what kind of office environment I work in. I could fart, and there are about 6 people that would smell it before I did. A lot of the 'secretary talk', 'watercooler talk' and your typical rumor mill just to keep these people feeling special.

Anyway, the top topic of discussion over the past 2 weeks or so has been this show 'Trading Spouses' on Fox. I guess the main reason people are so fired up about it is because this episode/month/whatever has a family from Georgia on it.

For those of you who haven't heard about this show, heres the deal...They find two families who couldn't be more different. The husbands trade places for a week. Eash husband spends one week with the other family, then the wives do it. Well, this episode the husbands are trading.

It's a family from New York, and one from BFE Georgia.

You should see this. It's the most ridiculous, most degrading thing ever. I was born and raised in Mississippi for 23 years, and have spent the past 4 here in Georgia...I have seen a family like this Georgia couple maybe, MAYBE twice.

This is maybe the dumbest show ever, yet I can't turn it off! I am waiting for this New York Attorney dude to start slapping these kids around...they are punks!

I can't even type about this anymore.

Dave Chapelle did a funny sketch on that a long time ago. I can't believe some boneheads actually made a show out of it.

i said dis-invent television....

i swear, the more people/kids i meet that grew up in the late 80's early 90's, are, on the whole, dumber than the prior generation. there are a couple of chicks in my office, who, i swear, live their lives like the tv show friends. i can't even relate to this generation, and I'm only 31... imo, tv does much more harm than good. people have weaned mindless drones on it. ever notice how most people within this 'new generation' shy away from verbal confrontations? take the "easy way" out when confronted with problems? Where do you think that comes from? easy, parents who just put their kids in front of tv's just so they'll be quiet....

Bean - don't you think that has alot to do with the pussification of our society? I mean, the PC crazy is out of control, and lawsuits are completely out of hand. Cops can't pummel the thugs, you can't punch the jackarse that rear-ended you, warning labels are on EVERYTHING, and the safety ****'s are marching into everything. Society is teaching us to be kind, gentle, 'work things out', remain calm, don't touch each other, don't look at each other, etc...
Hell, the TV and movies are the ONLY way we get to see reality.

Parents aren't punishing kids, they get those lame 'time outs' and 'heart to heart talks'. What a crock of sheet. Hell, even on this board I get reamed for speakin' my mind with complete disregard for others feelings.

And I'm sure you also know why our society is within the throes of pussification, riiiiiiight?

The liberal influence. ( it was only a matter time before I got sucked into this...)

Slowly, the cons and all they stand for, are being "queefed" out....

You're excluded.

You made your way up to being the ringleader of this posse!

The right wing is just as responsible as the left on this one. Even the conservatives are pussified now. PC is the game now.

This is a pretty pathetic posse though, I would be better off with a few retarded chimps.
