THere are a few hurricane proof buildings on the Mississippi coast where I grew up, and most of them have held up. A couple look like igloos, and others have the roof come all the way to the ground...it looks a little like an IHOP.
Did you hear what happened to his plane he flew down here? He paid extra to have it put into a reinforced hanger and the hangar colapsed destroying all the planes inside.

There are "hurricane shelters" all over here. I was talking the personal (per home) tonado shelters/sellers.

Being a Cali girl, I agree with ChevySniper. But I hope he knocked on wood as he typed, because the next one could rock that mountain he's sittin' on!

Lets hope this thing takes a huge turn east. My sister is in Christmas Florida, Just outside Orlando. She got hit pretty bad last time. Flooded the entire yard, ruined her carport and tore the deck off the second floor of the house. Thank god no body was hurt Shes still trying to put things back from last time. The water has not gone down yet and here comes another one.
My prayers are with her and everyone else in the path of this one. Hold on tight, its goona be bad.

SingleMom...yeah, the last one we felt was centered only 4 miles from our house...it was a good one

But that's the thing, you don't see it coming, there is nothing to worry about, you just wake up and the beds-a-rockin. I just look over and make sure that no one else besides my wife is in bed with me...heh heh
