Looking for "How To"info on Custom Bed
Looking for some info on how to do the custom uphostery I see in the beds of custom trucks. I've got a 2002 Harley and would love to duplicate the flames on the inside of the box sides, and maybe the HD logo on the floor or front wall. I can't find any info on how this is done,
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

I ran a quick search on google for "uphosltery forum", and came back with a few sites. However, most of them are blocked from my work computer
I would start there. It would be something similar to this board, only instead of truck talk, it's upholstery. They'd probably be able to give you some more info.
Sounds like a big job! Do you plan on doing it yourself? Will you have help? Have you done anything like that before?

I see these custom trucks in the mags with different patterns in the finished beds and I've read about guys doing flames in their headliners, etc and it seems like it should be doable.
Here's a thought, buy a bedrug or something similar already made to fit your truck, and then have a commercial seamstress stitch something into it. That'd be PDC (pretty damn cool)
Of course, you could always go your way. I am interested to see how you'd go about stitching something into it. I would guess it'd be pretty cheap ($100 or $150) to make your own, then you're still stuck with the HD stuff afterwards.
I'd be tempted to call a local seamstress and ask if they know anyone that could do something as heavy duty as you want....maybe commercial grade? hell, you might have started something here.
