I like GW. He's not perfect; but, I think he's done a better than average job as far Presidents go. I don't hate John Kerry. I can't say I like him either. I Just don't trust him or agree with most of what he stands for. He's too far to the left for me. Bush is farther to right than I am; but, I think the country needs that right now. I don't vote for President based on personal issues. I don't think either of the parties represent my demographic at all. In the long run, I think what Bush is doing right now will be for the best all around. I think a vote for Kerry is a bad bet for our children's futures. I think he's too weak and is motivated only by ego. I haven't seen anything yet to even give me a doubt that I'm reading him correctly. I am shocked that there is anyone that can stomach the thought of him being in the oval office at all. I guess after Clinton, some people think it doesn't really matter who's in the White House.
I knew Burt wouldn't understand. He just read that quote somewhere, not even knowing where it came from or what it was even about and liked it, so now he spouts if off all the time.
Yes, Context. We provided the context. And it goes against EVERYTHING you've been saying.
I'll Spell it out for your Again. Yes, He Did vote YES for it, in a Bill he sponsered to actually Pay for the 90 billion instead of throwing it on to the Deficit. His Bill failed, and on the Bill that actually went through, he placed a protest Nay vote towards it, Knowing that the troops were going to get their money.
Again: "Asked if he would vote against the $87 billion if his amendment did not pass, Kerry said, "I don't think any United States senator is going to abandon our troops and recklessly leave Iraq to whatever follows as a result of simply cutting and running. That's irresponsible."
I know there's a lot of Fancy talk here, but these are the details around the Quote YOU'RE throwing around. It's sad you don't even realize the CONTEXT of it. Maybe you're learning something.

So now your saying Kerry actually voted YES for the $87 billion?
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
And your traitor war criminal hero is running around telling everyone:
”I voted for the $87 billion for our troops before I voted against it…”
So, now your saying that quote should be:
”I voted for the $87 billion for our troops before I voted against it, but then voted for it again sometime last week but I guess that vote don’t count since I wasn’t in congress to vote again…”
Something like that?

Many of those on the left have so much hate it is driving them crazy and many have came right out and stated ”Anybody but Bush”. Their hate has so blinded them they are willing to put their country and its children at risk to vote for someone who is not only not qualified, but has a very sad history, a history of being a traitor and war criminal, a history of not supporting and looking out for the middle class, a history of not looking out for those on social security, a history of not looking out for the children and a history of just looking out for himself first before anybody else.
Remember this is the man that stated:
”I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it…”
He proved there once again, that he would do something that put America’s security at risk for pure politics, it is as if the man has no memory of 911 and all the innocent people who died that day, all those innocent people that jumped out of building so their bodies splattered all over the ground. A very sick scene I am sure but a real scene nonetheless. These people jumped to their death because it was their only hope or perhaps a better way to DIE rather then burning to death.
Kerry has no care or love in his heart for those people or their families nor their children. Kerry is pure politics and splitting the country and putting it at grave danger all in the name of power…
It is one thing to be a traitor and war criminal, it is another to completely put your entire country and all its children at risk to get in the oval office. Kerry is not like many of those who support him because I don’t believe Kerry is a hater, not like the vast majority of liberals and democrats, however Kerry welcomes the haters with open arms because it is they who may be able to help get him elected…
It is sad that you must depend on someone that will vote for you because they HATE the other guy but really don’t give a chit about you either, but that is Kerry, no values whatsoever, he will take any vote for any reason just like he will say anything to anyone and anytime to make them happy.
Kerry is a follower and not a leader. He has never been a leader and never will be, its in his record. I don’t hate Kerry but I don’t like his policies or actions because he is a disappointment to this country.
Big difference then just hating someone…

Talk about a Spin.. You just make up and believe whatever you want to believe.... Some of these things are so off the hook they're actually Funny! Honestly though, you saying stuff like this I think only furthers MY agenda and Henders Yours...
Didn't we already go over, and you acknowleged, as well as Bush himself, that there have been NO ties to 9/11 and Iraq. Yet you try and try and try....

That is ONLY an excuse Kerry is using, Kerry voted NO for one reason and one reason only, to be on both sides of the issue as this election processed forward. He voted NO so he could tell all those people that were against the war that he didn’t support it. He even stated in the beginning that he HAD supported the war to begin with but not now because of how Bush was fighting it and that is why it voted against the $87 billion.
Search the web and you will see that during the campaign when the screamer was spanking his *** Kerry was stating how he too NO longer supported the war. The screamer was actually the first one to call him on it in a debate, made Kerry look like a complete idiot…
Now, even though that is a fact, is not enough to satisfy you that Kerry’s lame excuse is just that I can tell you, based on Kerry’s record, that the deficit never played a role in any of his votes for socialist programs. Many times through the many years Kerry voted yes for a bill that was NOT paid for, where there was NO money in the bank as you and he states.
Kerry is full of crap, Kerry voted against the $87 billion for one reason and one reason only POLITICS, and because of his selfish politics he could have put many troops at risk due to not having the money they needed AFTER Kerry voted to put them in a war zone. That is down right cheap, but not unlike Kerry to screw over those on active duty in a war zone, remember he did that over 30 years ago…
Now, this argument is put to rest with FACTS, Kerry did NOT vote no because of no money, and that is the way it is because that is the facts, ugly and hurtful as they may be they are still the FACTS…
"I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it... (because I wanted to be on both sides of the issue)"

However, you continue to do Mach 1 in the Spin Zone and if you don’t get it under 65mph someone is going to pull you over…
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."—
And THAT"S a direct quote, no spin.
I did a search on "when the screamer was spanking his ***" and it came up with some pretty startleing things.... Hey, Whatever you're into Man. I respect youre "lifestyle" decisions... Now I know why you like Bush so much!
So what I get here is that someone is wrong and the other is correct, vice versa.
Let's all just vote for Kerry and sooner or later he will be on your or our side.
It's a win-win. The only problem is how long will he be on your side before jumping over the fence?
Let's see....hhmmm...Vote for Kerry? Yes, I mean No...or maybe...
I just can't decide....
I'm just a victim of circumstance, I learn by example or Do I ?

That could quite possibly be the dumbest thing I have ever read in this forum.
If you were to stop and think for yourself, instead of following the Democratic herd, you would come to a few conclusions:
1. The world is in a particularly dangerous mode right now. Not having a plan, AND STICKING TO IT REGARDLESS OF PUBLIC OPINION, is a scary method of operation.
2. The mentality of voting for "anyone" to be rid of the current President speaks of your intelligence, or apparent lack thereof.
3. The dumb-a$$ Democrats and Mr. SlickWilly Clinton DECIMATED the intelligence agencies of the US government. 9/11 happens and guess what ? Our information gathering capabilities suck !! So what happens ? Decisions are made with the info that we had. In retrospect, of course some of the REASONS (WMD) should have not be used, but the JOB still needed to be done.
4. The state of our entire economy (budget, deficit, unemployment, etc.) is not much different than when Clinton was in office. Look at the public record: After 1 year of GW, the deficit was almost EXACTLY the same as it was when Clinton left office.
There is no doubt that 9/11 has caused a huge impact into our economy. Blame Bill - he fostered the environment that allowed it to happen.
If you think that is Republican rhetoric, I urge you to read "See No Evil" by Robert Baer (Ex CIA). If and when you digest some of the information contained in that book, you will have a TINY insight into the true damage inflicted upon our country by 8 years of stupidity, also known as the Clinton terms.
I am not saying ALL Dems are bad or that all Repubs are good. Both have their flaws and strengths.
However, knowing the state of our country and the world today and for the next few years, having a wishy-washy politician in office versus a committed, straight-up, can-do guy who does not waft in the face of public opinion should positively scare the ***** out of every person living in the USA today.
