Once upon a time, I had a sport bike :)
And it was FUN...but after getting engaged, I sort of had to get rid of it. Wife doesn't like motorcycles...needed the money at the time (1994)...so off she went...to some goofball I hated to sell 'er to. But money is money I guess.
Here she is (was)...

No, I don't want this one closed nor do I want it to turn into a hate-fest.
I had this guy in Germany...for a couple years (back in 1990). Wish I had the FZR over there though! Would have been more fun.

hey I'm still confused how I got to be the ring leader of that "lynch the bikers" mob?
I know I'm annoying but I didn't threaten to kill anyone, just said that if you go around messing with people's trucks on the road you are eventually going to have an accident.

I've never owned a pair of shoes that needed shining... I did step in some dog crap yesterday that needs to get picked out of the tread on my sneakers though.
Trending Topics
There's another Ford forum that is WAY more restrictive than this one. They shut down anything political, sexual in nature, etc. I guess it's understandable...things get a little crazy sometimes when 'discussing' those topics. I think the problem is, people get personal rather than debating intelligently. So I'd just let this issue go...I did however wish to show my old bikes. I loved each of them. Had others as a kid too.
I wish I had the manual dexterity to ride a motorcycle, I'm sure I would be dead in a few days if I tried.
by the way I'm a regular at the other ford forum and I was banned there for a week for language, not as much fun as here!

No, just one.
I never thought I'd hear myself think/say this...but I'd actually liek a Harley. I never did like them, but as I get older...I like the idea more. There's more variety these days too. Some of them are pretty sharp looking. I don't know if I'd wanna spend that much though...and of course, there's always the wife issue (she'd never go for it!)
P.S. I love how easy it is to change the oil in my truck. It sits high enough that I don't even have to jack it up. I crawled under there before supper and changed it in 20 minutes
It's still super clean and not one drip of oil or anything else under there in 12,000 miles. I'm hoping it stays that way. Looks like the seals on the oil pan, vavle cover gaskets and so on are nice and wide. Should last a long time and keep the engine sealed up well.

Sorry, but that doesn't necessarily excuse you from this:
"The A-holes can crash and burn for all I care. Riding in between cars to get ahead in traffic jams - same thing. They better not get too close When I was in Germany for 3 years, I noticed the German riders like to play that game...in between cars to get ahead. Ok...go on...just watch out as you pull up to MY vehicle...the area between the vehicles just might get a little more narrow all of a sudden "
Let's just hope no one does that to you when you get your Harley...
