Bad part is I haven't shot them all yet. Time and a place to shoot is the reason.

I want one of those...er, uh, anyways.

I'll snap some pictures when I get back into town next weekend, but the short list includes:

1.5 ARs, a Bushmaster/Rock River hybrid, my high power match rifle, and a standard HBAR 20" 1:9 twist upper for plinking/practice.

My daily carry, a Colt NRM 1991A1 stainless Combat Commander.

The bolt rifles, a Remington 700VS in .308, with a Leupold 3.5x10x40 VX-III on it, a Savage 10FP in .223, and a Weatherby Vanguard in 7mm Remington Mag.

And a Benelli M1 Super 90 Tactical on layaway.

Just the basics.

Who knows if it will ever happen in the future, but private firearms ownership is a great deterent to homeland invasion, if you ask me. Imagine NOBODY had any firearms at all. We'd be totally defenseless if the military was not able to keep the bad guys out of our part of town. I don't mean to sound like a crackpot, but you know...who knows what will happen in the future. Nobody expected 9/11 for example. Besides that, it's nice to be able to protect yourself in your own home from the average criminals.

And by the way, they call them criminals because they DON'T CARE about laws. So the only people being screwed by firearms laws (when they get too restrictive) are honest citizens such as me and you all. The fact that someone has a gun doesn't mean they're ultimately going to end up shooting up a McDonald's somewhere. I think I've only fired 20 rounds through my rifle...and none through the rest. That's probably common for most gun owners - they usually just sit in the closet and look pretty. I don't have enough land to go out and shoot on my own property, so I have to go to a range if I want to shoot. There are subdivisions popping up around me, so it's not really safe. I can think of a few areas where I can shoot into the side of a hill, but still...I think the neighbors might get a little aggrevated. .308's make a little noise
