More windshield troubles...

My wife told me my truck has been making a funny noise since the second windshield was installed on Monday - kind of a tapping sound coming from the roof area. I looked at it last night the top seal of the windshield wasn't glued very well.

I took the truck this morning (first time it's been on the interstate since the windshield was replaced) and the top molding came half off, which means for ~30+ miles, the molding was hitting the top of the truck while I was cruising at interstate speeds.

Now the roof of the truck has a dent in it - from the location of the dent, I'm not convinced they didn't do while the were replacing the windshield, and scuff marks on it.

I call them up as soon as I get to the office, and they are telling me they can't get to it today, unless I come to them (they replaced the windshield w/ mobil unit).

I am so pissed at this company - Triumph if anybody wants to know there name. I am going to there office to get it fixed today, basically so I can bitch at a manager in person instead of over the phone.

Darn man. What a kick in the head. I wish you the best of luck. Dealing with buttmuches like that makes for a rough Friday I'm sure.

Argh...

I went to Triumph's office - the only person there was the chicky that answers the phone. The nearest installer is at least 20 minutes away. I leave with the understanding that someone is going to come to my office and fix it before 5 today, and was gauranteed the wouldn't be there for atleast an hour, so I would have time to get back.

About 45 minutes later I arrive back at my office to find the installer has already been there and left. I called their office and was told the installer would be back to fix it before 5. About 4:30 I get a call saying that the installer is running late ad won't be there before 5.

So now they *might* come by to fix it on Saturday. If not, they are coming to my office on Monday.

I also found out that depending how much glue was used the first time, they may have to replace it AGAIN, which would make the third windshield!
