Question fair price for used 2000 F150

Hi,
I'm looking at purchasing a used 2000 F150 4x4 $12,000. It is about 80,000 miles, 4 doors, super cab (suicide rear doors), auto transmission, air conditioning, green, manual windows, bed liner, very clean looking condition. It is in the Sacramento CA area. Any comments on price will be greatly appreciated.

What motor is in it?

Sounds like a fair price.

Longbed? Shortbed?

XL? XLT?

Price seems high though... even for a top notch 2000 XLT 4x4

You can get some idea of an appropriate price range by checking www.kbb.com and www.nada.com

Also, search ebay and any local classified ads for asking prices on similar vehicles. If you do a search and think the vehicle is overpriced, print up some of you search results and show the seller - maybe he will reduce the price if he has been having a hard time selling the truck.
