Kerry’s wife tells editor to SHOVE IT!
To clarify my position before this thread goes completely in the toilet (not unlike a Springer episode)...I don't think Teresa Heinz lied. I believe that she thought she did not say "un-American" and defended what she thought she said. In retrospect, however, with the facts in place, she should apologize.

She denied even using the term "un-American." Consequently, she would have denied saying "un-American traits." She would have also denied saying "un-American behavior." She would have no reason to clarify what she meant, as she did not believe she even said it.
From my point of view, this discussion is not about the meaning or intent of her speech or the terms used therein. She needs to apologize to a reporter that she told to "shove it" when she was questioned on her use of a term that she denied using, which she actually did use.
This has been a dead-issue all along. The way Teresa Heinz responds to it (or hasn't in this case) just shows me a lot about her character. Others will disagree. That's your right.

the woman is worth what a billion, i dont imagine she is to used to being quested or in a psition of watch what and how she says things.
fact is, to me there is nothing wrong with what she said, however she is in a different areana and in that game you are very careful what and how and when you say things, this is possibly the same women that will meet the rulers of the world and there is no room for a misunderstanding.

"FLIP FLOP POLICY"
when you nit-pick things like a toddler, you sound like a toddler.
grow up, or if you like you could "shove it." blindly following the party line without instead of looking at individual policies. that makes democracy a joke, you have freedom to choose; make an effort to get educated on each candidate and then choose one.
