Those spinners have gone too far!

Ok, so they are bad enough on SUV's and on cars, but what I saw today truly made me sick on my stomach. I was going down the road and I saw an 18 wheeler farther ahead of me that looked like it had some nice shiny rims on it. Well I finally caught up to him and I'll be darned if this truck did not have spinners on both of the rear axles on his truck. Didn't have them on the front for obvious reasons, but had them on both rear axles. I would have never guessed that they made those for 18 wheelers. I hate those things even more than I hate those stupid ricer wings and huge exaust pipes.

Speaking of stupid ricer wings, I also saw a F150, yes a F150 that had an aluminum ricer wing painted white sticking up on tonneau cover of his truck. I can deal with the real low profile ones as I think they can actually look good, but this thing stood well over a foot tall and was painted the same color as his truck. It was HIDEOUS I say!

Did you see the ad in last month's issue of Truckin Magazine where you can now buy high top sneakers with spinners in them that match the ones on your car?

Talk about going too far!

Some 'dubs' look good, others are downright silly. As for spinners, the same rule applies. I saw a late-model suburban with the counterwieghted spinners, so it looks as if the wheels are NOT moving while the vehicle is motion. It blew my mind! I loved it! I wouldn't slap 'em on my rig, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Yeah- spinners
I like the dubs, 22's, and some 24's- but even I have zero tolerance for "spinners".... What a tacky idea...

When they were limited to the benz's it didn't seem so bad; when I see a Chevy short-bed regular cab with 22" chrome wheels and spinners- I think that's going too far...

I liked it when they were $2,500 per wheel.

I'm with dzervit on this one. If they are high quality ones, and dont spin 4 different speeds, then they look pretty good. The ones he mentioned, where they appear to be motionless, make it look like the car/truck/SUV is just sliding across the road.
