Sport bike questions...
Thinking about getting a sport bike pretty soon. Leaning towards a Busa but I'm not sold on it yet.
What are some good bikes for taller people? I'm 6'5" - 6'6" and i know some bikes are a little more roomy than others. The Busas a bit longer which was one of the reasons I am leaning towards it. Let me know

I would say you might be more comfortable on a Suzuki GSX-R 750. They have really wide tanks so it might fit you just right.
my ex had a GSX-R 750 and he was about your hieght but he was also super skinny so he was scared of the bike.
he couldnt handle it in a turn. So he eventually wrecked it and got an R6, said he felt more comfortable on the yamaha. But honestly he looked rediculous on such a slim bike. it was legs everywhere. haha
I suggest u just go to a dealer and sit on a couple just to see where your legs would be and your comfort zone.
good luck on the bike. Give me about 4 months and I'll be getting my GSX-R 600

I had a Suzuki Katana 600, but then sold it when I bought my house. I had plenty of room on it but I am only 5'7". I don't think that you will be comfortable on any 600 or most 750's. I had a riding buddy that was like 6'3" that was comfortable on a Kawi ZX9R. If he rode something like a GSX750 for more that 30-45 min he would start to get cramped. I think that you would be the most comfortable on something 900cc's or larger. Also what feels good will depend on your build. If you are skinny you might find a smaller bike that you like. Go to a dealership and sit on a couple and find what feels good. Being comfortable is very important.

The bike for you
Eposey, I replied to your other post as well. I'm 6'6 and I had a hard time finding a Sports bike that fit. Try the Suzuki TL1000-R. Thats what I had. An awesome V-Twin super bike. Suzuki first built it to modle the Duck-a-ti 998. As they started getting it more for racing the rules again changed in world super bike and Suzuki went into the 750 class and now they have their gsxr-1000. The TL is bigger and fit me like a glove, the torque is unreal, with 125HP. The bike sounds mean as H3ll with that V-Twin. Plus is different, not many people have them, I got a lot looks when crusin around.
Specs:
996cc 4-stroke V-twin
Fuel Injection
434 lbs
190 ZR17 rear tire
120 ZR17 front
full hydraulic disc breaks
With the gisxer 1000 doing so well, Suzuki's last year for the TL was this year. I hit 160mph on mine and still had more to go but I ran out of highway. It felt like I was stuck to the road floating along at that speed, it could have easily done more.

If it's your first bike, I DO NOT reccomend a Busa of all things.
I'm 6' about 190lbs, and pilot a 2001 ZX7R, Ninja 750, and it's pretty much just the right size.
Some suggestions geared towards comfort for bigger people:
Honda VFR
Suzuki SV 650
Katana
KawiZRX 1200
Bikes you're almost guaranteed not to be comfortable on:
Kawi ZX6R
Kawi ZX10R (it's even smaller than the 6R!!! :o )
600RR

I've ridden everything from a Ninja 500, 2000 929, 2003 R6 (just sold it 2 days ago), and a Busa. Also Cruisers. At your height, if you can afford it and have the driving experience, you would probably be most comfortable with a bigger bike. The most comfy of all the supersport bikes are the Busa and the Ninja 12R. They are real comfortable and allow you to really stretch out. Good luck, but whatever you go for, if its a new model sports bike you really can't go wrong.
You’ll hear a lot of advice on getting a “slower” or less aggressive bike to start with, especially if it’s your first one. It’s just my opinion and take it for what it’s worth but buy what you like and what you fit on. My TL1000 was my first bike. People thought I was crazy. My thoughts have always been, just because something can go 400mph and 0-60 in a second doesn’t mean you have to. My first year on my bike I took it slow and easy learning how to ride and how the bike road. Year after year I got better and better and my bike was more than capable of handling it. My friends who bought 600’s got sick of them by year 2 and all were looking to sell for bigger bikes. I encourage you to take a Riding Class somewhere to learn basic skills first.
Exactly my point racerx. I don't plan to getting crazy on whatever I get for a while. I have enough self control.
People said the same stuff when I got my L. Told me I would kill myself in it, or wreck it. But I have yet to have a wreck or even be pulled over in it.
I may be young and love fast toys, but I know my limits
I rode my bro's new GSX600 and liked it, so I may go with a used Busa or new GSX1000.

I figured more people might look at this one instead of one just about the Busa.
