650K, in the overall scheme of things, isn't a huge chunk of money to him. He probably made that in endorsements alone last year (plus some I'm sure).

Tis a sad day. Ricky was *THE* man (minus the marijuana).

The steelers are looking good this year.

They got a young QB so he needs a few years under tommy's wing. I hope I can just put up with a few years. While thats all going on Duce will step up and run the ball and Bill will probably come up with some crazy trick play to Randle El.

Ive watched a few football games in my time and all I can say is I think the steelers run the most "trick plays" And they never work.

PS - I am also a Texan fan just cause I like seeing the worst team win once in a while. I guess thats why I am also a bluejays fan.

fatman66 - Twain was a hard to get guy. He had the size and hands but never the heart. December on the guy was great, but you need to help out in Sept and October as well. He failed the opening day condish. test 3 years in a row. We picked up Cory Dillion in his place. Doesn't seem like a fit for the Pats all for one and one for all game plan but reports so far say Dillion has been a modle player. Spending lots of time at Gillette working out, learning the book. Other players say he's been very respectful and happy to be there. I guess time will tell but I think it could be a great change for both sides. Maybe 6 years of losing does get to you.

Big hit to the fantacy football world and Fish fans with Ricky walking away. I don't think teams will give the same respect to Minor. Think Jay wants that starting QB job now? Can you say rush the QB, over and over and over.... What run?

I wouldn't want to line up under center for the Dolphins this year now. I can't say that I'm sad to see Ricky go (whatever hurts Miami helps Buffalo) but it was a crappy way and time to do that to your team. I think that Dillon is a big upgrade for the Pats, makes them more dangerous, as if they needed to be.

Cowboys and Bills, made for tough times during those 2 SB's though.

College team would be the UT LONGHORNS. HOOK'EM HORNS!

Gotta put my $.02 in for the Texans. I don't think they're ready for the playoffs yet, but they should be really competitive this season. The new stadium is awesome btw. Hoping for a really good season.
