Ok, I have seen several here around town and I think they are very ugly. I have mainly seen this on the mini trucks. What these people are doing is taking and putting a shaved bumper on their truck and they take and cut a space in the middle of the tailgate and put their license plate there. They are usually put at an angle, usually at about 45 degrees or so. Sometimes they are in the middle of the tailgate and sometimes they are off to the side. I would think that this would be illegal since they are supposed to be on the bumper and the fact that they are crooked.

Some of the things these people do to the mini trucks amaze me, well full size trucks for that matter too. Why, oh why do people do these kinds of things to their trucks?

I think as long as the plate is bolted to the back of the vehicle, its legal. My E150 factory plate location is on one of the rear doors.

Whatever the reason we all want to be the same yet we all want to be different...What we wear, tattos on the body,etc, what we drive tells others who we are as well...No one said being human was easy but at times it can be fun...

I have parked crooked myself more than a few times, Odin's wrath is right, too many stupid a-holes out there. I actually left a rive ticket on a Celica in the parking lot on friday, I had to check 5 different things on it.

 

Every other picture at www.laughatrice.com has the crooked license plate. It is a riot!
