Plastic "5.4" plate for throttle body

Hey quick question. So I put in my new air intake this weekend and I had to remove the "Titan 5.4" plastic molding that covers the throttle body. I left it off in case I had to tighten anything and to check for leaks. I guess I’ll put it back on, but is there any real reason for that cover other than looks?

Yeah, no real purpose. That's why it's called a "Beauity Cover".
