Filler posts...

I guess I'll add in a filler post here. I'm kind of tired, slow and ready for the weekend kind of day at work. So whats everyone doing right now?

I'm sitting at my desk here in Hartford CT, cleaning up my desk and e-mail, watching the clock. I'm ready to have a nice weekend and wash my truck. My rims and tires are gross.

Last weekend I pulled my wheels one at a time and cleaned them inside with the pressure washer. Made a big difference.
All the black didn't come off but, most of it did.

"HI, my name is Tuff, and I'm an alcoholic."

The insurance biz would drive me to drink as well.

Hey Dezervit ! How's that 3M clear bra holding up. I was washing the truck and drinking some beer last night, or maybe that was drinking beer and washing was secondary.. Who knows. At any rate I noticed my first chip on the front of the truck... I was thinking about the 3M clear bra...

Just as good as the day I got it. The little lady has logged 20,000 miles on her bimmer with the 3M stuff and it's like it was put on yesterday. A couple spots on the bummer from what I believe was hot ashfault. Was able to buff it right out. No chips to be found... Yay!

Ashfault? LOL!

I wish I'd gone with the 3M. There was someone, can't remember who, that was trying to talk me into it and I shyed away from it because I was worried about it getting a ding in it and looking like torn suran wrap on the front of my truck. Hindsight...

My next truck WILL have it.

4pm Hartford traffic is murder.
It's one of the cities I try to time right when driving North.

Putting on the bimmer is what sold me - I'll never have another vehicle without it. That stuff is tough!!

My spelling does suck. *adds a 2x after RP's name on the 'R' list*

I bent over for about $500. I've heard people get it for $200-300. Its new and pricing varies dramatically around the country. I took it to the BMW dealer and had their guy do it since he did a great job on the car. Costly I know, but still a hellova lot less that getting a hood/bumper stripped and re-painted!!
