ZZ Top

Or as we say in Canada, ZedZed

they should be taking the stage in about 4 hours.
Damn, I'm looking forward to this!! I missed my chance to see them about 25 years ago. Good thing they haven't changed a bit in all that time.

They smoke, I saw them on the Eliminator Tour (1984) in Miami.

Enjoy!

I love ZZ! I have seen them a bunch of times with Skynyrd, and a couple of times by themselves. They put on a really great show, and you have to respect any band that can make songs like they just being a three piece band and pull everything off live.

It were a great show!! An outdoor venue with the lake, city and mountains in the background. The weather was good and a fun time was had by all.
We had row eight center stage tickets, so we had a great view of all the not-so-bashful girls up front by the stage barriers.
They even played "Mexican Blackbird" like I was hoping they would. Damn, that Billy Gibbons can sure play guitar!! I don't know what it is about Texas that produces such great blues guitar players. Johnny Winter, SRV, Lightnin' Hopkins, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, etc. Maybe it's the methane in the air from all the cow flops.

Wow, Bowie and ZedZed within 3 months of each other. Life is good!

live music

I love seeing bands live. I'm going to Korn at the end of the month but I've seen a lot of different bands from White Zombie to NRBQ to Steve Miller to Kiss to Ozzy. Great White to God Smack.
