I gots to defent the Toyota. I used to own two (not flareside). I dont think it is that bad. And the truck although smaller than the Ford is still a damn nice truck. The flare side Tundra is much better looking than the crap Nissan put out. Ok...all said and done, I would not trade my F-150 in for one, but until you guys drive one...dont knock it.

I am hear to tell you, it will run circles around our trucks from a stand still. It cant haul as much and is no where near as tough, but over all still not a bad truck...that is once you get past replacing the front rotors every 7k miles.

Ok..enough of prasing the Tundra. Notice...I used to own Tundras...as in past tense. Now my allegiance goes to the F-150 monster...my 4th and loving it.

Don't have a problem with Toyota's realibility, it speaks for itself, along time ago i had an '85 toyota 4 x 4, at stop lights it ran so smooth (not enough o's in smooth) i thought it stalled.....its just the looks of the flareside of the truck thats all....it defineatly does not work for me!

I just started this thread to comment on the looks of the "flareside", but I didn't say the Tundras were bad trucks.

However, I will say this, and I know it's a bold statement but, I don't think they are as good as they were in the 80's. Now those were some good yotas.

Just my .02.

Whoa, hold on!

Cia Agent (if that is your real name), I actually took offense to your comment about the 04 flareside. I think it is the nicest of the bunch, that is why I drive one. I don't know what model Ford is advertising with in your area, but everywhere I have looked, it has been the flareside in either the yellow or silver.
When I had my liner sprayed in, and when I ordered my canopy, I was told by both people I dealt with that my truck was the nicest flareside that they had seen. I'll go with the opinions of those that see trucks everyday, anyday.
Oh, by the way the Solara rear end doesn't quite look right on that Yota.

I agree. The F150 flareside is by far the best looking box. I'm just disappointed that they didn't offer it on the Supercrew.

Too be honest, I like it. I hate biased opinions, and most of these are biases. I own a new '04 and still know when something looks good, even if it isn't a Ford.

Now, how many agree that the Ranger is butt ugly?

biased?...I didn't give a prejudged statement based on anyone elses response.
Just stated what i thought of a particular body style of a truck.
I also like the looks of the ranger, even if it is underpowered.
