ok im doing a little debate on president bush, and how he has helped the country. im of course debating that he HAS helped the country. i need as many facts as i can get about how bush has helped the country. just list facts like
Over 1 1/2 million jobs have been created while bush was in office.
just stuff like that. burt, i know you got a lot of them, so im just waiting for you to post with all your facts. anyone is welcome to post though.

I can't help you out with facts and figures...but...
I for one wish the politicians on both sides would simply get the heck out of the way and let capitolism do it's thing. Way too many people are trying hard to screw things up. We do well enough on our own, thank you. I don't need a politician telling me how I should put my socks on in the morning...I think I can figure that out on my own. Provide a strong defense and police force, keep the roads fixed, provide general services such as license plates, postal service, social security for retired folks, welfare for those that truly need a helping hand (not for the morons that are able to brave freezing temps and blazing hot sun while trying to get you to hand them a buck or two on the sidewalk, yet they're in too bad a shape to go get a job!?) etc...and leave the rest to us. Government isn't the answer to all of our problems. We could literally pave the streets with gold if we had all the money the gov't throws in the toilet every year. It makes me sick to think about it.
