There should be a 'crop' feature in whatever software your using to edit/create pictures. Try the help and search for crop.

If all else fails, here you go:

I have promised myself some of this software before long. That's just too cool.

You dont need special software for basic cropping.

MS Paint will do that just fine

Blending, special effects, paint wont do that kind of stuff.

http://www.gimp.org/windows/
It's free and its a very good image manipulating program.

Bartak1, I'm not gonna ask how you drive it.
What I want to know is how did it make down the assembly line?

YES!!! dzervit, you rock

Tuff, I did most of this on MS paint. In fact the only thing I remember not using paint for is to blur just alittle bit and maybe lower it. For those I used Pixia. Its a download I got off the internet made by Tacmi. Its got some pretty nice features, I just havent figured out how to use most of them yet. Im sure If you did a search on Yahoo or something you could find a place to download it. A lot cheaper than spending 100 bucks on Photoshop.

Raoul, I have no idea how it got down the assembly line let alone past inspection As for the driving, it has a splitting sensation as you go

Thanks guys

*EDIT* Tuff-here is a link to a yahoo search, you can pick which one you want to download. I have version 2.8f if it makes a difference. I think there is a 3.1, not sure if it goes any higher.

Yeah but thats just pasting images on top of each other and adding doing text.

Like I said, Paint wont do blending or any special effects.

GIMP (linked in my earlier post) is basically a free program that does anything PhotoShop can do.

GIMP can handle some more advanced features, but that doesn't put it on the level of Photoshop... PS didn't become the standard for graphic professionals by tossing in a few blending and crop tools. Photoshop is so flippen powerful it makes my head spin. I've barely scratched the surface of it's capabilities.

Your definitely right though, you don't NEED photochop to do some easy photo editing.

Maybe not, but its a much much better image editing tool than Paint, and its free, so its all good
