What to do with old monitor?

My 21" Viewsonic went out a while back & it's taking up space in my computer room. What do I do with it?
Can I put it in the dumpster? Or am I supposed to dispose of it some other way?

Any skyscrapers near by?

I lived on the 26th floor of my dormatory back in college and you wouldn't believe the sound that one of those HUGE jars of pickles makes (like the ones you would get at Sam's Club) makes when exploding after falling that far...

I can only imagine what a 21" monitor would sound like! LOL!

That was a CRT if I remember correctly (and you now have an LCD)

Hhhuuuummmmm . . . CRT from 26 floors could be nasty, you'd have to make damn sure nobody was around for a good distance . . . them micro-shards of glass fly a long way.

You could take it out into the desert along with a sniper rifle and practice long range shots . . . oh, wait, you live in Louisiana. . .

You could take it out into the woods . . .

You could sell it on ebay . . . I've seen lots of useless stuff for sale on ebay, a non-working monitor would not be unusual, and you could make a buck or two . . .

You could send it out here to Lost Angeles and we can bury it with the dead gangster in jpdadeo's post (https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=160482), thereby getting rid of trash in a more effecient manner. . . sort of a "twofer" if you will.

The possibilities are endless.

Tie a chain to it, and then when you get a boat, you can use it as an anchor.

Feed it to a gator.

Then shoot it and make some luggage.

There are a number of people who turned their old MacPlus machines into fishtanks.

I know you'rs is not an old Mac, but I bet you could do it with a monitor.
