What kind of car is this?
Maybe a Zimmer or something like that.
Usually a new car that has been modified to look old.
Use to always have one on display here in Orlando airport for years. Quite a few years ago, if memory isn't failing.

If you are interested in that sort of stuff, ie Kit cars, try www.kitcar.com
All kinds of stuff, including about every Cobra kit car you can imagine. An old veteran buddy of mine from our Vietnam days (Curt Scott) owns the site and the magazine.
A note of interest to Bill Murray, Curt got his literary start in Atlanta at Emory University. Then lived there for several years while doing some internal publishing for a vehicle leasing company.

I don't believe it's a Zimmer.
I went to the Zimmer web-site (not sure why...must be really bored).
Every one of their cars that use the bird hood ornament has a bird with the wings in an up position.
Also, all the Zimmers have a full grill that protrudes, and the sides are chrome (like in the above pic) and the horns are multiple horns on the exterior, also like in the pic.
The black car in the post has a bird hood ornament but the wings are spread out like an eagle swooping in for a kill...
And, the grill on the black car in question does not look like any of the Zimmer car grills on their website. Although the Zimmer grill is a Rolls Royce rip off, they are at least consistent in that they all protrude and are all chrome . . . and, they resemble Rolls grilles.
The black car's grill looks like an old Volkswagen grill, it does not protrude, and in fact it is crooked with the bottom sticking further out than the top.
When looking at a lot of Zimmer pix I noticed that the mid section of the cars in the models from the 1980's all look like the 1980
s Cadillac Eldorado Coupe which it appears is what they used. Very squared off with that sudden stop and flat back end. The "trunk" on the Zimmer was also straight edged with that turn of the century look, sort of like a luggage crate fastened onto the vehicle with leather straps.
The current Zimmers appear to have their mid-section cut from Lincoln Town Cars, and although the back end is rounded (exactly like the Town Car), it looks nothing like the rear end of the black car in this post.
Although the Zimmer is a "kit" car in a sense, it at least looks substantial...this mystery car however is a "kit" knock off of a "kit", and looks like a cheap rip off of a Zimmer ( which itself is a ripoff of a Dusenberg).
