Canada Fishing.

We went up to the Bay of Quinte for some walleye (canadian say pickerel A) and caught some nice ones. We had a real good time up there (man there's alot of donut shops). I will post some pics soon. We went in a friends 04 F-150 XLT what a great truck. Canada is a great place also. Had many many labbats blue's and went to a local club that night in bellville (sp)devil: . We will be going back again real SOON!!!!.:

When I was in high school, we drove 35 hours straight-through from Chicago to LaRonge, Sask. to fish for two weeks. Made this trip three times. Northerns, Walleyes and Lake Trout. mmm-mmm. Good eatin. This was in the 60's, but I bet the fishing is still great up there. If I can ever save enough money, I'll go back. Nice people, good beer and water-proof cigs!

I went flyfishing up there about 3 years ago. Had a blast! We were fishing mainly in lakes (ponds) though. We drove for about 2 hours up...literally UP...this mountain to reach this place. The guide told us that if any bears came close to us, just to kick out to the middle of the lake. Yeah, right. I'd be running on water.

Glad you had a good trip! Post some pix soon.

Last time i was there they had the boo club but no more so we ended up at some place in downtown Belleville. I have been overseas and seen alot of crazy things over the years but that weekend of ice fishing and the boo club was the best ever, man they had some show that night. Next time i go i will be in touch and maybe we can party in Habibiville OT.

2 things:

If you want to be liked by Canadians... its "eh?" not "A"

joking aside... Quinte has been way overfished and really sux compared to what it used to be.

10 to 15 years ago you would have your catch limit within an hour... and that was 6 fish, not 4 like now.

And they were 6 big uns (5+ lbs)

But Im glad you liked it there. Nice small town. Good people living there. Nicer than the Crazy Foo's living down the highway in Kingston....

But if you like those, you can also try Labatt 50, Molson Export, Alexander Keiths Pale Ale (owned by Labatt and tastes similar to 50)
