Memorial Day

Tommorow is Memorial Day.

I hope everyone enjoys thier day off with thier families and friends, with picnics and barbques, as the unoffical start of summer begins.

Please take time out tommorrow to remember all those who gave thier lives so that we may have ours. Remember those who are in Veterans hospitals who relive war every day. Remember those who are still in Afganistan and Iraq and pray for thier safe return to thier families.

If you have'nt already done so, put out your American Flag as a symbol of remberance.

I feel that too many people lose sight of why we have Memorial Day. It's a three day weekend for them and they pay no respect to the fallen soldier, who gave us the freedoms we enjoy today.

We fly our flag every day on the front of the house. My father was a Marine in WW2. He fought on Guadalcanal and Bouganville. I often wonder what men of his generation think of present day America. I hope they are still pleased with what they see. Remember veterans tomorrow and God bless America.

Most of us have never had a three day weekend for memorial day. Even so, yes, thanks to all vets!
