actually, i believe that there was some sort of regulation passed in 96-97, limiting the top speed for pwc to 65 mph for all models 97 and after.

and that 78 mph on mine was with a gun, the ski has no gauges anymore.

it does have: a cool head, coffmans exhaust, mrd mechanical fuel injection, forged weisco pistons, no oil injection, new flame arrestors, gutted waterbox, quick trim system, aluminum handlebars, beach house sponsons, and it hauls ***! i don't know if i want to race it yet, i just got it a month ago. i need to get used to riding jet skis again first.

if anybody was thinking of buying one, i would stay away from polaris, my buddy rented one last weeekend because his zxi was in the shop, and we blew the cylinder head on it after three hours. we did get our deposit back somehow.

That is what I did last night, I bought a 5 gallon gas can with this cool nozzle. Filled it up at night. My marina does not allow you to gas up at the dock, so I just went at 8 pm when it was dead and filled it up. It is only a few blocks from my house so it is not that bad, allot better than paying $3+ at the pump.
