Unhappy At least it wasn't the Lightning

Well, some guy ran a red light and T-boned my daily driver today. I have (had) an old beat up Ranger that I drive to work everyday, I take my bulldog with me to work and he's not allowed in the Lightning, so thank goodness I wasn't driving it. The dog and I are okay, he almost went out the driver's window when we were upside don, I grabbed him just in time and held onto him until we stopped, right side up.

I don't know how to post pictures, but here's a link to the gallery.

The first few pictures are of my wife in the emergency room; she fell off a horse almost two weeks ago and broke her wrist. The rest are of the wreck. I'm just glad the dog and I are okay, the guy who hit me never talked to me or checked to see if I was okay. About 15 other people got out of their cars and checked on me, they said it was quite a wreck.

The truck had 98,4XX miles on it and I had been watching the odometer for a while because I'd never seen a car flip the odometer before. Guess I'll have to wait a while longer.

Sorry about your beater (very beat up beater now ) but I'm glad to hear that you and your dog are OK.

Why wait longer, did you have your eyes closed, the odometer flipped, just not the way you expected. J/K
Glad you and the pooch are safe and sound. Probably need to get a Doctor to check everything out. Sometimes you don't notice a problem for a few days. Better to get a doctor visit on record for insurance purposes. Wouldn't hurt to let a Vet check the dog too!

I second that. Glad you & the bully are ok. I'm always afraid of getting in an accident when ours rides with us (thankfully thats not very often). He is funny to watch while riding, once we start to speed up he lays down like he's lowering his center of gravity so he doesn't get tossed around.

UGH!

Really makes me rethink riding with my dog in the bed! Kinda hard to put a 120 lb lab in the cab with me though.

Glad everyone is ok!
