Question "Second Thought" virus/spyware removal

Anyone here know how to get this stupid spyware program off my cpu. It s called "Second Thought" . I managed to get rid of the pop-ups it was making but it is still f-in up my video playback. I have ran numerous adware/spyware removal programs and a couple different anitviruses and they don't seem to work. I tried removing it from my registry but it keeps coming back. Does anyone out there have some advice. Any help would be appriciated.

I have tried Spybot, Adaware, Bazooka, Registry Mechanic 3.0
etrust antivirus, Spy Detector and maybe one other that I can't think of. I found this site that explains how to remove it; however, I follow all the steps and it still pops up again. Here is that link

I have used Adaware and no problems.

Have you thought about running a virus scan? Do you have latest virus definitions? I use Norton and it does a good job.

Only advice I could give is to backup all your files and format C:\

thx for the links.

The second link you posted is bogus. The people that made the "virus" put that web site up. The uninstall program doesn't work.

I'll have to do some fiddling arouond when I get home from work.

Thx for the response!
