I did it. what a dummy i am

Today after driving my truck for almost 7 years and along with many many off road adventures i backed ole 97 into a old hidden guardrail post, hence putting a nice big crease in the right side rear bumper. It raised the rightside rear plastic black trim off the bumper and bent it up (the metal) real good. All i was doing was turning around on a dirt road (missed a turn) and while backing up fairly quickly !!BANG!!, got out looked and i just got back inside and did not even think about it (well i tried not to). But now i am here at work and that's all i am thinking is what an A-hole i am for not seeing that post, dammm i am pissed..... To fix or not to fix, ummm i will have to contemplate longer. Its the first dent in it, as a matter of fact its the first ding scratch etc... in it..... Should have been paying more attenion but noooooooooooo. sorry for the long post.... but i just had to. :o

Sounds to me like it's time for a F150online bumper sticker.

After that funny feeling in the bottom of your stomach goes away, you'll replace the bumper and nobody will ever know you did it. Look at the bright side, could'a been worse, the fender or tailgate could be all screwed up.

*guess you'll have to change that sig pic now, to reflect the damage.* J/K

Hey, it's ok, buddy. Lighten up on yourself

Come up with a badass story to tell, though. Like how you were doing donuts at the Chevy dealer and some stupid driver backed into your bumper head-on.

Sorry to hear about your boo-boo. It does make you feel rather stupid when you do something like that doesn't it? Thankfully it sounds like a fairly easy fix. Having to live with it reminding you until you can get it fixed is the hardest part

all you got to do is pull the brake light fuse and find a bmw. then brake check them. the odds are they are on their cell and when they hit you, you say "look at what you did to my bumper"
