I watched a Denali truck ( awd ) run 10.92 this past friday night ( yes 1/4 mile). With just nitrous.

I don't know about that, I would have to say he has more than just nitrous. I have a Denali truck with mods and its best to date is only 14.8. It would take one hell of a big shot to take 4 seconds off in the 1/4 mile. There are guys running the stroker 6.0, it makes it a 406 or 408 and they make a good 500 h.p. then throw on a 200 shot and you would be about what that guy is running. I am not saying he didn't run the 10.92 but he wasn't doing it on a stock truck with just nitrous.
Bad *** either way...

Bill

It's 408 w/ 2 stage nitrous. And it's got a diff. tranny and torque conv. Thats all mods i know off top of my head. I was meaning w/o blower when I said just nitrous.

OK I understand, that what I figured he had, is it the Pewter C3 you are talking about or a Sierra Denali with the 4-wheel steering?
I knew about the C3 being in the 10's, but haven't heard of a Denali in the 10's yet.

Thanks...

Bill

It's an '01 C3, built 408, full tranny, converter, 2 stage direct port nitrous, weight loss, suspension work, stock wheel, & street tires. Says he's only running a 350 shot, 200 out the hole &150 at the 1/8.

ONLY a 350 shot? Good lord thats a lot of nitrous.

I dont think my little unit will even support those tiny 350hp jets.

I say only 350 because this guy is known to bs about the amount of juice he runs. He ran a 12.97 all motor, can you drop 2 full seconds with a 350 shot?? I don't know. Maybe you can?

Was that the one with the gaudy 24" gold wire wheels? I think I saw that same Denali at a Chevy-sponsored show at Darlington last fall.

Looking the truck over, I never would have DREAMED he would run a high-11 pass on "24 rims..

Not thats not the same one. He does put some 22" wheels on it sometimes, but they are tastefull. Again, the Sierra C3 is different from a Sierra Denali. The C3 was only made in '01, the Sierra Denali has 4 wheel steering.
