I passed all my finals. Thank God! One more semester, and it's off to work to make some $$$$. Actually I've been offered a job over the Summer at a local Utilities company as a helper. I might save what I make to make a down payment on a Mustang GT.

Well, I made my presentation yersterday and everyone told me I did a really good job - hopefully the prof agress...

The assignment for grad students was to do a literature review of some aspect of midwest paleoclimate, identify an area that your interested in, and to write a propsal to further the research in the area, the present it in a PowerPoint presentation (mine was 22 slides long).

[Rant]One of the full time grad students (one of the type fatman66 despises) stood up w/ about 3 overhead tranparencies and talked about pollen and vertebrate critters in New Mexico. So everyone started pounding him w/ questions like, What does this have to do w/ midwest climate? (nothing) Where are you going to look for the pollen (it's already been done) Then what are you proposing? (maybe collecting a speleothem (cave formation)) Where? (Maybe Carlsbad Caverns) Does it fit the requirements? (I don't know)

It was absolutely pathetic! and this guy is getting his schooling funded by the university! at least he was until he bombs this class...

It will really **** me off if the prof gives hime the mercy 'B' for him to get credit for the class. I put hell of a lot work into my project for this guy to jerk off and get a 'B' [/Rant]

 

I just took my first one today. tomorow I have my Business Stat final, and my Accounting final. Tue comes my Economics final. Oh isnt college fun. Luckily I have good enough grades in my prier test and homework that I dont have to make great grades to pass my classes, but I dont want just C's. After tomorrow, I'm going to lighten out my fridge of some of the cold beverages in it. Good luck all.

Ive got business stat, financial accounting and business law to look forward to next semester... yay!

I'm in lawschool.
your entire grade is based on one TIMED final exam.
You get 12 entire days off (including one weekend) and then you go back to class. Oh yeah, for the first day of class you ahve to be prepared which means you have read 2 chapters per class. Which means your 12 day vacation was actually 6 days vacation and 6 days studying.

My ex-g/f went through the same hell going to law school. And while I feel your pain, I'm feeling a "Waaaaahhh!!!" coming on.

I'M FINALLY FINISHED. I have successfully completed 12 years of PUBLIC school. Now all I have to do is walk this Saturday. My final grades...
