As per usual wasting away my time on my favorite subjec

Surfing on the Mustang sight and found this article about the 2000 Cobra R.

Noticed it came stock with 18 X 9.5 wheels and wondered What kind of tires they were running.
Was really surprised to see the 265/40/18 tire size but sure enouph there is one and it fits.

Looks pretty soft since it has a 00 wear factor. But I was thinking you guys that are running different rims and slicks might find this an interesting option that fits on stock wheels for having some fun on the street.
I'm always lookin and finding out usless trivia that has anything to do with our trucks.
Prolly a lame choice since it is narrower it would offset the tracktion benifit.
But I was thinking the smaller diameter would help getting out of the hole and it might just be better for strickly track use. The price isn't that bad compared to some others.
