Thanks guys and gals I'll be driving our 93 Buick from time to time, for now. Good car, still going strong.

It kinda scares me though, the thought of driving by myself! er, I think I'll just take the bus.

Congratulations!!! When I was your age cruising was a major pastime ........ gas was cheap though. Just as an example, I paid $300 for my first car and $1300 for just liability insurance. Another good thing about cars is that they can get you back & forth to various jobs.

Thanks, Habibi. There is a driver's education course at my school, and I could take it next year, but I kinda don't want to, on account of underclassmen in the class, and me being the only senior.
Around here the Motor vehicle agency has classes you can take to help you get a discount on insurance or adjust the amount of points on your licsence so you can get off the revoked list and drive again.

Maybe they offer a similar class in your area and you would'nt have to mingle with underclassmen.

It makes me sad to read that. A few days ago, my dad said he and I would go shop for new tires for the Buick, together, and learn a little about tires. He was planning to do this with me, right? I offered to do a few powerbrakings on it too, along with burnouts as well. He seemed excited about the idea, and began talking about his wild car days in the past. Keeping that in mind...

I come home from work tonight, and my mom mentions to me that my dad got new tires put on the Buick. I was like, WHAT?? I was too disappointed to mention anything to him. And you know what; he had the nerve to mention to ME that he got new tires on. Nope, not even a second thought about what he had promised me.

Lying, no-good, pos father. I don't take that back, either. I'm tired of being lied to.

Your daughter's got a good dad, sled. Half my life, the things I wanted to do, were too 'boyish' and my dad wouldn't allow. That makes me sad... there was absolutely no excuse in the whole world not to burn some rubber with the old tires. What better opportunity, since new ones were about to be slapped on? But nope, he couldn't wait for me. Hell with him.

Congratulations!!

That sucks about the tires, but at least you didn't have to buy them. Smoke them anyway

Now time for driving pratice, and there is no better pratice then a road trip. On that note, the directions to my house are....
Then offroad pratice.
