I hear you bro and I do apologize to rdy2rac with for getting the thread off topic. It is hard anytime the military is brought up to not get upset about how this war has been politicized and in doing so putting those I have the greatest respect for in more danger then they need be.

With that said I promise, as far as this thread goes, to not mention anything about the elections or politics in general out of respect for rdy2rac with excellent post to begin with…

Thanks, sorry about the rant. It's just that I have a son and 2 nieces (2 different families) serving right now. Right or wrong, they believe they are doing the right thing..... That's all that counts to me.

True or false I think most of us have similar feelings when we overhear comments such as these. I know I do & I can't think of anyone I personally know who is serving right now.

For the record, the guy who origionally post this on the other board said that his girlfriend "had a similar experience while i was TDY a few weeks before i came over here. She about went home crying. Some college girl denouncing our pres, our country, our military. Mandy let her have it."
