Almost done with my R/C car!

clonetek got me all interested in these things... and I almost bought a Lightning, but decided I liked the chassis on this one better. Besides I can always get a Lightning body later, once I've honed my body painting/cutting skills some...

These things are addictive. There's a ton of mods, and their much cheaper than mods for my truck...

I'm just waiting on my controller/servos now. Should be here by the weekend. Then it'll be on to ESC, chrome wheels, ball bearings, aluminum shafts, touring tires, etc, etc...

I can't wait to get this out and running. I've been scouting out parking lots for several days now. Even found a few tracks...

Well, I ran it for the first time last night... Sorry, no video camera... This thing is fast!

Someday I'll have to get a nitro off road truck though...

I got the car/kit at a local hobby shop, saved a few bucks, and time. Got the battery/charger at Radio Shack, and got the controller/servos off ebay...

You can get it all at www.towerhobby.com though for pretty good pricing...
